Here we will share with you books we have read, and give our review on them. You will find books for all ages and reviews from all ages.
FANTASY:
For those who enjoy reading fantasy books we can recommend the Robert Jordan series, "The Wheel of Time".
"The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go.
What was, what will be, and what is,
May yet fall under the shadow.
Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time."

This series is now eight books long and still going. The man of this house eagerly awaits the next book. Upon the announcement of book eight he re-read the series for the third time to refresh his memory.
There are other sights containing this series. One sight at present is developing a game based on the books. This series has built a large group of dedicated followers and for those who enjoy reading fantasy this series is good but, volumes seven and eight did not live up to expectations. The author did not move the plot along. The books left behind characters and started developing new ones. We are hoping book nine will be better.
In our opinion it is a *** series.

FICTION:
For those fiction lovers out there we were told of a series called "The Gunslinger". This Stephen King series is a must.
Though there is some crude language in places the story is worth it. We personally recommend the audiobooks They are good to take on long trips and it's easy to not get distracted.
""The Gunslinger" is a spellbinding journey into good and evil ...... filled with stunning visual imagery ....... unforgettable characters ...... unlike anything you have ever read .... King's most visionary piece of storytelling .... magical mix of fantasy and horror ...... may well be his crowning achievement."
The words above are how "Penguin Audiobooks"
describes the series.
The draw back as in most series type books is book five is not yet available. Book four spent alot of time looking back  and was confusing, but it did explain why "The Gunslinger" became who he was.
In our honest opinion this series is well worth the money and speaking as people who don't care for most of "Stephen King's" books we give him **** . Thanks to Rod for telling us about it. For those who don't wish to purchase the series, the audio cassettes are available at public libraries to borrow.
INSPIRATIONAL:
For those who need to have an uplifting read I can not say enough about "A Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson. This lady has a way of seeing things the way they are. She doesn't candy coat everything and gives from her experiences. Marianne is full of light and inspiration. From reading her book I found it was a lot easier to say forget it.
She explains we are the authors of our own book and what we do, not others affects us. We create the anger or the love we feel. Forgiveness is a strong point of her book, if you can't forgive you can't forget, and you have to carry that
baggage around forever.

Thanks to Tiffany for the challenge to read this book and the listening too.

"A Woman's Worth" is another of Marianne's books I strongly recommend. She jumps the boundaries of class, race, religion, and gender."A Woman's Worth speaks powerfully and persuasively to a generation in need of healing, and in search of harmony."

"Marianne Williamson is blessed with the ability to get to the kernel of truth... she addresses issues of the spirit with such earnestness and grace that she can convert even the most jaded of souls .... Her voice is refreshing and new."

These books are ***** reading.
Children's Series:

ANIMORPHS:
This series is available through the scholastic book order forms. This series is also a television program, seen on Tuesday nights on YTV. To date there are 30 books in the series all of which our children own. The series is based on the premise that teens have been called upon by an alien being. That being is an  Andelite, who gives them the power to morph into what they touch. Their enemies are the Yeerks,
or bad aliens. The teens need to hide from them and try to keep the planet safe. Each book brings new characters and adventures.
Our children give this series a ***** thumbs up.

THE DIADEM:
This is another series that is new so only five books are out. This series is a kids fantasy book with dragons, wizards, and the good guy bad guy fighting. Once again teens are the good guys trying to save the world from the dragons and bad wizards.
Our children highly recommend this series. They are however disappointed more books are not available.
This series receives another ***** thumbs up.

SWEET VALLEY HIGH:

Also a television series, these books relay stories from
the lives of teenage twin girls, and their circle of friends. The books are aimed at a teenage girl audience, and tend to have little lessons tucked in there somewhere. They discuss some of the difficulties of being a teen and the problems teens face.
Our daughter enjoys this series and recommends it as a good read. The books are also available on cassette tape, many of which are available at your local public libraries.
This series gets a **** thumbs up.
